AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK OF THE SOUTHWEST
ONE - FOURTH OF THE SOUTHWEST ONE - FOURTH OF
SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP TWO NORTH, RANGE 13
WEST, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of February, 1984, Honorable
Don Venhaus, Pulaski County Judge, entered an order, now
recorded in Book 84 at page 27, finding that Big K Development
Corporation was the sole owner of the Southwest ; of the
Southwest ; of Section 29, Township 2 North, Range 13 West,
Pulaski County, that Big K Development Corporation had
petitioned the Court to approve the annexation of the property
to the City of Little Rock, that the property is contiguous
to the city limits of Little Rock along its entire northern,
eastern and southern boundaries, that the property is needed
for and is highly suitable for municipal purposes, namely
residential development, lying adjacent to highly developed
residential property within the city limits of Little Rock
and in the path of rapid expansion of Little Rock westward,
and
WHEREAS, it is established that more than thirty (30)
days have passed from the entry of the order and
no persons have instituted any proceedings to have
the.annexation prevented in the circuit court, and
WHEREAS, it is found by the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas that the findings of the
Pulaski County Judge are correct and that it is in the best
interest of the City of Little Rock that the property be
accepted as annexed to the City of Little Rock,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, that the Southwest n

West, Pulaski County be accepted as annexed to the City of
Little Rock as of this date. (Hillsborough Annexation)
