AN ORDINANCE WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING;
APPROPRIATING $127,000 FOR A SCRAPER; AND
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CLARK MACHINERY COMPANY
WHEREAS, an exceptional situation exists and competitive
bidding should be waived so that the City may immediately
purchase a 22 cubic yard scraper for use at the landfill; and,
WHEREAS, Clark Machinery Company has agreed to sell such a
scraper to the City of Little Rock for $127,000.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock Board of Directors
hereby declares that an exceptional situation exists and
competitive bidding is hereby waived.
SECTION 2: A contract is hereby awarded to Clark Machinery
Company for a 22 cubic yard scraper for $127,000. The City
Manager is hereby authorized to award the contract to Clark
Machinery for the total price not to exceed the above mentioned
figure.
SECTION 3: There is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund $127,000 for the 22 cubic yard scraper. '
