AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING
A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
ASHER AVENUE FIRE STATION; APPROPRIATING
FUNDS THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept bids and award a contract as set forth in the attached
fact sheets and bid tabulations for construction of the Asher
Avenue Fire Station for a total price not to exceed the budget,
payable from the funds specified in the fact sheets.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors hereby appropriates
from the City's General Fund an additional Seventy -Five Thousand
Dollars ($75,000.00) for the construction of the fire station to
allow the City to award the bid and to have a reserve
contingency.
