AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN LAND
LYING CONTIGUOUS AND ADJACENT TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK INTO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK PURSUANT TO VOLUNTARY
ANNEXATION OF THE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, a hearing was conducted on November 5,
1984, on the Petition of Roy K. Smith and Ruth G. Smith to
the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, for an Order
annexing to the City of Little Rock a part of Pulaski County
which is contiguous and adjoining the City of Little Rock.
WHEREAS, based upon the Petition, the Notice of
Hearing published pursuant to law, from statements of coun-
sel and other evidence adduced, the County Court found as
follows:
legal.
(1) Petition for Annexation was proper and
(2) Allegations of Petition are true.
(3) Petitioners are sole owners of the pro-
perty in the area sought to be annexed.
(4) The limits of the area to be annexed
have been accurately shown on the attached map; and
WHEREAS, the County Court ordered the property,
described below, be annexed to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
Part of the NE 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 15,
Township 1 South, Range 13 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows: Beginning in the
center of Alexander Road and Sardis Road
being the NE corner of NE 1/4, NW 1/4,
Section 15; thence S 0 deg. 02' W 208.06
feet in center of Sardis Road to a
point; thence N 89 deg. 23' W 226.46
feet; thence North 202.0 feet to a point
in the center of Alexander Road; thence
along center N 89 deg. 05' East 226.58
feet to point of beginning.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK: The Board of
Directors, City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby declares
the above - mentioned property to be accepted into the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
