ODINANCE NO. 14,798 •
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
THE PLEASANT VALLEY ESTATES
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 637
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an impro-
vement district be established for the purpose hereinafter set
out.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has heard
all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by a majority in assessed value of the owners
of real property within said territor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property:
Part of the SW1 /4 SE1 /4 of Section 29, T -2 -N, R -13 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas more particulary described as:
Beginning at the SW corner of said SW1 /4 SE1 /4; thence N
00 019159" W along the west line of said SW1 /4 SE1 /4
1259.55'; thence N 88 °53'50" E 1401; thence N 00 019159"
W 351; then N 88 053'50" E along the north line of said
SW1 /4 SE1 /4 841.151; thence S 0 °42153" E 523.501; thence
S 89 043146" W 328.271; thence S 00 °34149" E 794.49' to a
point on the south line of said SW1 /4 SE1 /4 (said point
being the SE corner of the W1 /2 of said SW1 /4 SE1 /4);
thence N 89 028130" W along the south line of said SW1 /4
SE1 /4 659.78' to the SW corner thereof and the point of
beginning, containing 23.47 acres more or less.
for the purpose of
Constructing and maintaining all streets lying within
the above - described property and, in addition, for pro-
viding any and all street lighting, recreation facili-
ties, landscaping and security therefore and deemed in
the best interest of said improvement district for the
benefit and use of all residents thereto.
Said district shall be known as The Pleasant Valley
Estates Street Improvement District No. 637; and Robert W. Palmer,
L. Kirk Thompkins, and John Silver are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
