ORDINANCE NO. 14,742
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, TWO TRACTS OF LAND SITUATED
IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, on August 17, 1984, the County Court of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, pursuant to a petition filed by the owners of
the property hereinafter described, and after notice and hearing
thereon as prescribed by law, entered its order Annexing to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the following described territory
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
TRACT NO. 1
Part of the SE 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 20, and
Part of the NW 1/4, Section 21 all in T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
(Col. Glenn Rd. Beginning at the Southwest corner of the NW
Annexation) 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 21, T -1 -N, R -13 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence NOO " 49 04 E
along the West line of the said NW 1/4, NW
1/4, for 657.2' to a point on the North line
of the S 1/2, NW 1/4, NW 1/4, said point
being located on the present City Limits
line; thence S89 008138 "E along the said
North line of the S 1/2, NW 1/4, NW 1/4 and
along the present City Limits line, for
1324.42' to a point on the East line of the
NW 1/4, NW 1/4, said point being located on
the present City Limits line; thence South
along the said East Line of the NW 1/4, NW
1/4, and along the present City Limits line
for 564.4' to a point in the centerline of
Colonel Glenn Road; thence in a generally
Westerly direction on the centerline of
Colonel Glenn Road for the following courses

Westerly along the centerline of Colonel

on the North line of the SE 1/4, NE 1/4,
Section 20, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas; thence S89 042136 "E along the said
North line of the SE 1/4, NE 1/4 for 295.06'
to' the Northeast corner of the said SE 1/4,
NE 1/4, Section 20, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, said
corner also being the Southwest corner of
the NW 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 21, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, and the point of beginning
containing 25.86 acres more or less.
TRACT NO. 2
A tract of land in the NW 1/4, Section 16
(Fourche Dam and in the NE 1/4 Section 17, T -1 -N, R -11 -W,
Pike Annexation) Pulaski County, Arkansas, being known also
as that part on Lots 3, 6 and 11 not platted
in Richland Addition; the North 2.5 acres of
Lots 4 and 5; the South 81.04 feet of the

12 and 13 not acquired by the East Belt

WHEREAS, both said tracts are contiguous to the corporate
boundaries of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, are best suited
for suburban purposes and represent the actual growth of the
city beyond its legal boundary:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The annexation of both tracts hereinabove
described is hereby accepted and the same shall henceforth be a
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its date.
SECTION III. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to forward a certified copy of this ordinance to the
County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
