All ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PLEASANT RIDGE
STREET, WATER, DRAINAGE & SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 636
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority
in assessed value of the real property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purposes
hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by a majority in assessed value of the
owners of real property within said territory; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
In Section 21, T -2 -N R -13 -W:
That part of the NW 1/4 lying South of
Arkansas State Highway No. 10 less and
except Lot 6, Pleasant Ridge Subdivision,
Little Rock, Arkansas
That part of the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 lying
South of Arkansas State Highway No. 10
and West of Lot C, Walton Heights
The NW 1/4 SW 1/4, the NE 1/4 SE 1/4
SW 1/4, the E 1/2 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4

That part of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 lying
West of Rodney Parham Road except that
portion owned by the Catholic Diocese of
Little Rock, Andrew J. McDonald, Bishop
Woodland Heights Subdivision
The South 305 ft. of Plot 'J', the South
410 ft. of Plot 'I', Plot 'H'
for the purpose of:
(a) constructing curbs and gutters, drainage and
paving for and otherwise constructing new streets or improving
existing streets or roads within the District boundaries and
to make connections outside the District boundaries where
required; and,
(b) enlarging, improving, extending, repairing
and maintaining any existing water system within said District
theretofore acquired or constructed in the City of Little
Rock; and,
(c) constructing, reconstructing, expanding, im-
proving or otherwise providing appropriate drainage facili-
ties within said District; and
(d) constructing, improving, expanding, maintaining,
or otherwise a sanitary sewer system to serve the property
within said district and to be consolidated with any pre-
existing sanitary sewer system and to make connections
outside District boundaries where required, and for the
purpose of acquiring by gift, purchase, or the exercise of
its right of eminent domain by condemnation the necessary
lands for rights -of -way and easements to accomplish the
improvements as herein described; all in such manner and

with such materials as the commissioners to be elected for
said improvement district shall deem to be for the best
interest of said district, and that the cost thereof be
assessed and charged upon the real property above described.
SECTION 2. Said District shall be known as "Pleasant
Ridge Street, Water, Drainage & Sewer Improvement District
No. 636 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and Louis E. Schickel,
Donna Galchus, and R. F. Toll are hereby named Commissioners,
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
