AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classifications of the
following properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
(a) Z- 3727 -A - described as part of Tract "A ",
Jay Smith Subdivision, Little Rock, Arkansas, more
particularly described as:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Tract
"A ", said corner also being the Northwest corner
of Lot 492, Kingwood Place Addition, Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence South 9° 10' 30" West along the
West line of said Lot 492, 186.60 feet to the
Southwest corner thereof; thence South 78° 28' 05"
East along the South line of said Lot 492, 50.4
feet to a point; thence South 250 32' 45" West
along the East line of said Tract "A ", 26.25 feet
to the Northeast corner of Lot 3, said Jay Smith
Subdivision; thence North 76° 06' West along the
North line of said Lot 3 and along the North line
of Lot 2, said Jay Smith Subdivision, 135 feet to
the Northwest corner of said Lot 2; thence North
24° 47' East, 84.57 feet to a point; thence North
70° 35' 15" West, 176.6 feet to a point; thence
South 19° 20' West, 20 feet to a point; thence
North 700 35' 15" West, 20 feet to a point; thence
South 190 20' West, 76 feet to a point; thence
North 590 14' West along the common line between
said Tract "A" and Lot 1, said Jay Smith
Subdivision and said line extended Southeasterly
220.25 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1;
thence North 010 23' East, 94.06 feet to a point;
thence North 880 53' West, 176.3 feet to a point
on the East right -of -way line of Keightly Drive;
thence North 01° 15' East along said East
right -of -way line, 14 feet to a point; thence
South 88° 53' East, 176.3 feet to a point; thence
North 01° 23' East, 168.9 feet to a point on the
South line of Lot 403, said Kingwood Place
Addition; thence South 890 13' 45" East along the
South line of said Lot 403 and the South lines of
Lots 404 and 405, said Kingwood Place Addition,
145 feet to a point on the South line of said Lot
405, said point also being the Northwest corner of
Lot 406, said Kingwood Place Addition; thence
South 000 40' 42" West along the West line of said
Lot 406, 158.3 feet to the Southwest corner
thereof; thence South 51° 03' 45" East along the
South line of said Lot 406, 108.50 feet to the
Southwest corner of Lot 407, said Kingwood Place
Addition; thence South 83° 57' 30" East along the
South line of said Lot 407, 260.5 feet to the
point of beginning, from "C -3" General Commercial
District to "R -5" Urban Residence District.
(b) Z -3922 - described as the West 1/2 of Lots 4, 5
and 6, Block 119, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, from "I -2" Light Industrial District to
"C -3" General Commercial District.
(c) Z -3935 - described as Lot A -R, Block 7, 147
Breckenridge Business Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, from "0-3"
General Office District to "R -5" Urban Residence
District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
