ORDINANCE NO. 14,498
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 -9(C) OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; TO PROHIBIT SMOKING IN BUSES PROVIDING
PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION SERVICE UNDER
FRANCHISE BY THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 13 -9(c) of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to smoke,
light, or carry any lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, or any other
form of burning tobacco while riding in any elevator located in
any building in the City to which members of the general public
have access or in any bus, in the City, providing passenger
service under franchise granted by the City."
