ORDINANCE NO. 14,480
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE
RECEIVED BY EACH OF SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS,
AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN PLEASANT RIDGE
STREET, WATER, DRAINAGE AND SEWER IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 636 OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situated in Pleasant Ridge Street, Water, Drainage and
Sewer Improvement District No. 636 of Little Rock, Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of constructing, relocating, and
improving, streets, water systems, drainage facilities, and
sewer systems within the District has petitioned the City
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for
the construction of said improvements, and that the costs
thereof be assessed upon the real property of said District
according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every
lot, block, and parcel of real property situated in said
District equal or exceed the local assessment thereon; and

WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is ?
$950,000.00; Now
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the said several lots, blocks and
parcels of real property in Pleasant Ridge Street, Water,
Drainage and Sewer Improvement District No. 636 of Little
Rock, Arkansas, be assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district, as the same now remains or
may hereafter be changed in the office of the City Clerk,
and that five per centum (58) of the assessments on each of
said lots, blocks, and parcels shall be collected by the
County Collector with the first installment of the general
taxes becoming due in 1984, and five per centum (5B) of the
assessment shall be collected annually thereafter with the
first installment of the general taxes until the whole of
the local assessment shall be paid.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage.
