AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF LINDSEY ROAD
BETWEEN FOURCHE ISLAND LEVEE AND LITTLE ROCK PORT DOCK FACILITY IN
LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the northern 35 feet and southern 15 feet of
Lindsey Road between Fourche Island Levee and Little Rock Port Dock Facility, in
the Little Rock Port Industrial Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, as
designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in Deed Book 1175,
Page 543 in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no
longer needed for corporate purposes, except for public utility and drainage
easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates
and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally,
in and to the street designated as follows:
The northern 35 feet and southern 15 feet of an existing 150 ft.
R.O.W. between Fourche Island Levee and the Little Rock Port Dock
Facility as shown on the attached plat leaving a 100 foot R.O.W. for
Lindsey Road. More particularly described as follows:
Parcel No. 1 Legal Description
A strip of land situated in the NW; Section 15 Township 1 North,
Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, said strip being the northerly 35 feet of
the existing 150 feet dedicated right -of -way of Lindsey Road, said
strip being located north of a line described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the NE; SE; Section 16, T -1 -N,
R -11 -W; thence along the west line of said NE; SE; Section 16,
S 010 30' 52" W, 359.38 feet to a point on the centerline of Lindsey Road;
thence continuing along said centerline of Lindsey Road with the
following bearings and distances, S 88° 31' 06" E, 110.59 feet;
along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 1432.40
feet, and a chord bearing and distance of N 85° 06' 14" E, 318.23
feet; N 78° 43' 34" E, 1340.27 feet; along a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 1909.86 feet, and a chord bearing and
distance of N 72° 27' 44" E, 416.76 feet; N 660 11' 54" E, 491.88
feet; thence N 23° 48' 06" W, 40.00 feet to the Point of Beginning;
thence N 660 11' 54" E, 637.38 feet; thence along a curve to the
left, said curve having a radius of 676.20 feet, and a chord bearing
and distance of N 44° 58' 04" E, 489.73 feet; thence N 230 44' 15" E,
562.60 feet; and containing 1.37 acres, more or less.
Parcel No. 2 Legal Description
A strip of land situated in the Sh NW; Section 15, Township 1 North,
Range 11 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, said strip being the southerly 15 feet of
the existing 150 feet dedicated right -of -way of Lindsey Road, said
strip being located south of a line described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of the NE; SE; Section 16, T -1 -N,
R -11 -W; thence along the west line of said NEq M. Section 16,
S 010 30' 52" W, 359.38 feet to a point on the centerline of Lindsey Road;
thence continuing along said centerline of Lindsey Road with the

along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 1432.40
feet, and a chord bearing and distance of N 85° 06' 14" E, 318.23
feet; N 78° 43' 34" E, 1340.27 feet; along a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 1909.86 feet, and a chord bearing and
distance of N 720 27' 44" E, 416.76 feet; N 66° 11' 54" E, 497.46
feet; thence S 230 48' 06" E, 60.00 feet; thence N 660 11' 54" E,
631.80 feet; thence along a curve to the left, said curve having a
radius of 791.20 feet, and a chord bearing and distance of
N 440 58' 04" E, 573.02 feet; thence N 23° 44' 15" E, 69.60 feet, and
containing 0.45acres, more or less.
subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements located in said
street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk,
shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in
the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
