AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED 3 2`t
IN THE 11,501 BLOCK OF WEST MARKHAM STREET
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following property be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Z- 2245 -A - Described as part of the SW 1/4, NE 1/4 and
tie SE T/4, NW 1/4, Section 4, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as
follows: Starting at the NW corner of the SE 1/4,
NW 1/4 of said Section 4; thence S 0° 06' W along the
west line of said SE 1/4, NW 1/4, 161.8 feet to a point
on the south right -of -way line of West Markham Street;
thence east 540 feet to the point of beginning of the
tract of land herein described; thence continue east
along said south right -of -way line 1,739.6 feet; thence
S V 27' W, 542.5 feet to a point on the north line of
Lot 132, Birchwood Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence N 750 48' 07" W along the north line
of said Lot 132, 23.2 feet to the NW corner thereof;
thence N 60° 23' 43" W along the north line of Lots
122, 121 and 120 of said addition 438.55 feet to the NW
corner of said Lot 120; thence N 230 27' 26" W along
the north line of Lot 156 of said addition 40.2 feet to
the NW corner thereof; thence N 88° 58' 36" W along the
north line of Lot 157 of said addition 155.1 feet to
the NW corner thereof; thence N 890 00' W along the
north line of Lots 158 -163 of said addition 512.6 feet
to the NW corner of said Lot 163; thence north 59° 04'
08" west 60.1 feet to the NW corner of Lot 164 of said
addition; thence N 650 13' 36" W along the north line
of said Lot 164 and Lot 165 of said addition 167.2 feet
to the NW corner of said Lot 165; thence
S 890 53' 21" W along the north line of Lots 166 -170 of
said addition 434.6 feet to the NW corner of said Lot
170; thence N 00 06' 40" W, 171.6 feet to the point of
beginning from "R -5" Urban Residence District to "C -3"
General Commercial District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the Ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
