ORDINANCE NO. 14,224
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
CITATIONS BY THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPART-
MENT FOR VEHICLES WHICH DO NOT LEGALLY
DISPLAY THE SPECIAL LICENSE DECAL PROVIDED
FOR IN ACT 772 OF 1979 AND 14HICH ARE PARKED
IN AREAS DESIGNATED FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE
OF DISABLED PERSONS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Act No. 772 of 1979 provides for a
fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00 for each
offense where a vehicle not displaying the special license
decal provided for in that Act is found parked in an area
designated for the exclusive use of disabled persons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
Directors of the City. of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The Little Rock Police Department
is hereby authorized to issue citations for vehicles
which do not legally display the special license decal
provided for in Act 772 of 1979 and which are parked in
areas designated in accordance with Act 772 of.1979 for
the exclusive use of disabled persons.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect one hundred and twenty days after its adoption
and approval.
