ORDINANCE NO.14,216
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ONE MILLION,
FIFTY -THREE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY
DOLLARS AND FIFTY -SIX CENTS ($1,053,460.56)
FROM THE FUNDS ALREADY ALLOCATED IN THE
BOND FUND OF THE 1977 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
FUND TO BE USED FOR THE JOHN BARROW ROAD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER AND THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO
PROVIDE FUNDS TO THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGH-
WAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR
FEDERAL AID URBAN MATCHING FUNDS AND
OTHER SUPPORTING COSTS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, one million, two hundred fifty -two
thousand, nine hundred and ninety -four dollars
($1,252,994.00) has previously been allocated from
funds in the 1977 Capital Improvement Fund to be
used for the John Barrow Road Improvement Project
and one appropriation of one hundred ninety -nine
thousand, five hundred thirty7three dollars and
forty -four cents ($199,533.44) has already been
made from the total allocated for the project; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to appropriate
the funds remaining in the allocation for the John
Barrow Road Improvement Project.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. One million, fifty -three thousand,

four hundred sixty dollars and fifty -six cents ($1,053,460.56)
are hereby appropriated from the funds already allocated
in the Bond Fund of the 1977 Capital Improvement.Fund
to be used for the John Barrow Road Improvement Project.
Section 2. The City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized and directed to provide
funds to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation
Department for Federal Aid Urban matching funds and other
supporting costs.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
