AN ORDINANCE AMIVDING ORDINANCE #,113,617
(APRIL 3, 1979), SECTION l;i, ESTABLISHING
A FEE FOR APPEALS TO THE CITY BEAUTIFUL
COPMdISSION AND FOR O`FHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. That Section 15 be amended as follows:
Right
of Appeal.
Any interested person
aggrieved by a decision
of any administration
official of the City in
administering the pro-
visions of this Ordinance shall have the right of appeal to the City
Beautiful Cbmnission.
(a) The City Beautiful Coamission shall hear request for
landscape variance upon written application of the
property owner or his authorized agent, and after sub-
mission of a detailed development proposal, may grant
such variance only when it is demonstrated that such
action will be in keeping with the purpose and intent
of the provisions of this chapter. The Commission may
impose reasonable conditions in the granting of a
variance to insure compliance, to project surrounding
property and the public interest.
(b) The Commission shall hear and decide appeals where it
is alleged there is error in any order, requirement,
decision or determination made in the enforcement of
this chapter.
(c) The Commission shall interpret the provisions of this
chapter in such a way as to carry out the purpose and
intent.
A charge of one hundred collars ($100.00) shall be
made for all applications filed before the City
Beautiful Commission. The one hundred dollar ($100.00)
charge shall be paid to the City Collector's Office for
which a receipt shall be issued stating the purpose of
the payment. This receipt must be filed with the ap-
plication for a review with the City Beautiful Commission
as evidence of payment of said fee.

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
