ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THAT PORTION OF EAST SEVENTH STREET DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Starting at the SE corner of the Fowler Block,
Stevenson's Addition, Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence N 830 00' W along the South line of said
Fowler Block, 176' to the point of beginning;
thence S 70 00' W 12'; thence N 831 00' W parallel
to the South line of the Fowler Block, 300';
thence N 7° 00' E 12" to the South line of the
Fowler Block; thence S 83° 00' E along said South
line,.300' to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
14th day of December , 1981 asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon that portion of East Seventh
Street as described below, which portion of East Seventh
Street was dedicated to the public by Plat filed of record
October 27, 1976 in the Pulaski County Circuit Clerk's
office at Plat Book 38, Page 89 and an Amended Plat filed of
record March 3, 1977 in Pulaski County Circuit Clerk's
office at Plat Book 39, Page 59 and Bill of Assurance filed
in Book 1430 at Page 385; and
WHEREAS, after due notice, the Board of Directors has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the portion of East 7th Street described below has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a street;
that all of the owners of property abutting upon that portion
of East 7th Street to be vacated, abandoned and closed have
filed with the Board of Directors written consent to such
vacation, abandonment and closing; that said portion of East
7th Street has never been used as a part of said street and
is not needed or required for corporate purposes or for use
by the general public; and accordingly the public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment
of the portion of East 7th Street described below;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together
with the rights of the public generally, in and to that
portion of East 7th Street described as follows:
Starting at the SE corner of the Fowler Block,
Stevenson's Addition, Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence N 83° 00' W along the South line of said
Fowler Block, 176' to the point of beginning;
thence S 7° 00' W 12'; thence N 83° 00' W parallel
to the South line of the Fowler Block, 300'';
thence N 7° 00' E 12" to the South line of the
Fowler Block; thence S 830 00' E along said South
line, 300' to the point of beginning,
subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements
located in said street.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas and recorded in the Deed of
Records of the County.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
