ORDINANCE NO. 14,157
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLSIHING STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 635
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a
majority in assessed value of the property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition
praying that an improvment district be established for the
purpose hereinafter set out.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has
heard all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained
that said petition was signed by a majority in assessed
value of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvment
district embracing the following property

Part of the S 1/2 NE 1/4 and part of the N 1/2 SE 1/4

Section 20, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas

described as follows:

Beginning at the SE corner of Tennis Club Addition,
said point being in the center of Sam Peck Road;

thence West 513.0' to the SW corner of Lot 1,

Tennis Club Addition; thence North 596.75' to the
NW corner of said Lot 1; thence West, 260' North of
and parallel to the South line of SW 1/4 NE 1/4
Section 20, for 960' ± to the West line of said
SW 1/4 NE 1/4; thence North 305'; thence East
1320' t to the East line of Sam Peck Road at its'
intersection with the centerline of a 50' water line
easement; thence Southeasterly along said centerline
334'; thence South 364.4' to the South line of the
SE 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 20, thence West to the Centerline
of Sam Peck Road; thence Southeasterly along the
centerline of Sam Peck Road to the point of beginning,
containing 17.7 acres, more or less.
for the purpose of
Improving a portion of Sam Peck Road, a public road
and street lying in the E 1/2 of Section 20, Township
2 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas by:
Removing the existing surface of said portion of
road; grading and excavating same; filling with
crushed stone.and resurfacing with an asphalt surface;
and by installing related curbs, gutters, sidewalks,
drives, parking areas, curb inlets and drainage pipes;
and by installing, upgrading and constructing related
improvements whether similar or dissimilar to the above.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. 635 ; and Joseph Mullen, Robert F. Janes
and Robert A. ( "Bob ") Peck are hereby named commissioners,
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
