AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF WEST
STREET, NOT CLOSED, LYING SOUTH OF THE SOUTH RIGHT -OF -WAY
LINE OF WEST MARKHAM STREET, AND WEST OF AND ADJACENT TO
FORMER LOT 6, BLOCK 3, ARKANSAS HEIGHTS ADDITION IN
EXECUTIVE PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that all that portion of West
Street, not closed, lying south of the south right -of -way line of
West Markham Street, and west of and adjacent to former Lot 6,
Block 3, Arkansas Heights Addition in Executive Park Addition to
the City of Little Rock, as designated on the plat of said Addition
now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 , Page 53
(or at Instrument No. ) in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, is no longer needed for corporate pur-
poses, except for public utility and drainage easement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of
the public generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
All that portion of West Street, not closed, lying south of the south
right -of -way line of West Markham Street and west of and adjacent
to former Lot 6, Block 3, Arkansas Heights Addition in Executive
Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
subject, however, to any public utility or drainage easements located
in said street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
