A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ACCEPTANCE OF A GIFT OF A 70 ACRE
TRACT OF LAND SOUTH OF ALEXANDER
ROAD FOR USE AS A CITY PARR.
WHEREAS, Mr. David Jones has offered to give the City of
Little Rock a 70 acre tract of land south of Alexander Road
valued at approximately $200,000; and
WHEREAS, the City will use this property as a City park;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors extends its thanks and
appreciation to Mr. Jones for his generous gift to the people of
Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION .1. Mr. Jones' gift to the City of 70 acres of land
south of Alexander Road valued at approximately $200,000 is
hereby accepted. The legal description of the property is
attached as Exhibit A. The City Manager is authorized to execute
any necessary documents to transfer ownership of said property
from Mr. Jones to the City.

the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section' Sixteen
