RESOLUTION NO. 8,411
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE M HiLBURGER FIRM OF LITTLE
ROCK FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR A SITE SELECTION
STUDY FOR NEW LANDFILL FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, this contract is a follow -up to the contract
approved by the Board on November 6, 1990 (Ordinance No. 8,401)
for engineering services to effect a closure of the present City
landfill; and
WHEREAS, this contract will proceed with a site selection
study and selection process for proposed new landfill facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with The Mehlburger Firm of Little Rock, in an
amount not to exceed $35,000 ($31,500.00 plus 10% contingency),
for a site selection study for new landfill facilities.
SECTION 2: Funding for this contract is available from a
special project, Account No. 210 -0137, Federal and State Upgrade.
