A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE
DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE FIRE SERVICE FOR THE
REMAINDER OF 1990 TO 3M COMPANY, AND FOR OTHER

WHEREAS, 3M Company has filed petitions at the Pulaski
County Courthouse and at City Hall for the annexation of their
properties; and
WHEREAS, State statute requires 60 days for said annexation
to become effective.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The Little Rock Fire Department is hereby
authorized to provide services on a contract basis through
December, 1990, to 3M Company plants on 3M Road and Arch Street
Pike.
SECTION 2: In the event the Little Rock Fire Department
responds to an alarm at 3M Company plants, 3M agrees to pay $100
for each hour or part of an hour for services provided.
