A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO REIMB
SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY AND ARKANSAS
POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY FOR UTILITY RELOCATIONS ON
THE COLEMAN CREEK DRAINAGE PROJECT.

WHEREAS, a local cooperation agreement with the Corps of
Engineers requires the City of Little Rock to be responsible for
utility relocations; and
WHEREAS, this relocation was necessary improve the creek
channel just east of University Avenue between West 12th Street
and West 19th Street.
WHEREAS, the facilities are existing utility right -of -ways
and are reimbursable, pursuant to Resolution Number 7,487.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
reimburse Southwestern Bell Telephone Company $41,161.62 and
Arkansas Power and Light Company $19,625.65 for utility
relocation of its facilities for the Coleman Creek Drainage
Project.
SECTION 2: Said funds are available in Special Project
499 -8686.
