HomeMy WebLinkAbout82131 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 I 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RESOLUTION NO. 8,213 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN WATER WORKS PROPERTY LOCATED ALONG HIGHWAY NO. 300 TO THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY 435 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock holds title for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works to lands in Pulaski County, Arkansas; and WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Commission has requested that certain property along State Highway #300 be sold to them for the purpose of making improvements to said road; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works has determined that this sale will not have an adverse effect upon the water supply nor maintenance thereof, and has deemed the fee title to the City Property to be surplus property and desires to sell the City Property; and WHEREAS, the Arkansas State Highway Commission has had the City Property and the temporary construction easement(s) appraised by a professional real estate appraiser who has determined that the City Property, plus the temporary construction easement(s) has a fair market value of $2,150 and $3,246 respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: Fee title to the City Property is hereby deemed to-be surplus property. Bowerman, formerly Christina C.
