4 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
5 TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF ARKANSAS ACT
6 556 OF 1989.

8 WHEREAS, The Board of Directors has determined that the
9 proliferation of drugs within the City of Little Rock, has created
10 a serious threat to the health, safety, and welfare of its
11 citizens; and
12 WHEREAS, The General Assembly of the State of Arkansas has
13 authorized city attorneys to take action to abate as public
14 nuisances all dwellings where drugs are used, stored or
15 manufactured.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Attorney is
18 hereby authorized to implemnent the provisions of Act 556 of 1989
19 entitled The Arkansas Drug Abatement Act of 1989.
