RESOLUTION NO. 8,179 349
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO
$29,600, TO LITTLE ROCK WASTE WATER UTILITY FOR RE-
EXPENSES.
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock, The Little Rock Waste
Water Utility, and The Little Rock Municipal Water Works are
jointly participating in the development of a computer based land
mapping system known as the Pulaski Area Geographical Information
System ( PAGIS); and
WHEREAS, The funding for the PAGIS system is being shared
by these three entities according to the following formula: City
of Little Rock (60 %); Waste Water Utility (20 %); Municipal Water
Works (20 %); and
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Waste Water Utility is currently
paying all costs incurred with the hiring of a PAGIS coordinator;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of The City Little Rock to
reimburse the Little Rock Waste Water Utility for its
pro rata share of this obligation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to expend
up to $29,600 for the year 1989 to the Little Rock Waste Water
Utility as its pro rata share of the expenses incurred in the
development of the Pulaski Area Geographic Information System.
