A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH VARIOUS ENGINEERING FIRMS FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR FOUR 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECTS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock
Code of Ordinances, the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with Civil Design Inc., AMI Engineering, Inc., and
White - Daters Associates, for engineering services for four 1988
Capital Improvement Bond Projects.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is further authorized to
allocate 1988 Capital Improvement Bond funds appropriated by
Ordinance Number 15,473, to the following projects: (a) Taylor
Loop Phase II, in an amount not to exceed $52,000, Account No.
301 - 220- 0059;(b) Mabelvale RR Crossings, in an amount not to
exceed $50,000, Account No. 301 - 220- 0058;(c) Bowman Connection, in
an amount not to exceed $50,000, Account No. 301 - 220 -0110; and (d)
Geyer Springs, Valley Drive to Mabelvale Cut Off, in-an amount not
to exceed $75,000, Account No.301- 220 -0111.

BOARD ACTION
SECTION 1. A resolution authorizing the City Manager to
enter into a contract with the following engineering firms
for engineering services for the following 1988 Capital
Improvement Bond Projects.
Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock Code of
Ordinances, a Selection Committee was formed on May 18,
1989, to review Qualifications for Engineering Services for
four 1988 Bond Projects. Following standard procedures the
following firms were chosen:

SECTION 2. Authorizing the City Manager to allocate 1988
Capital Improvement Bond funds appropriated by Ordinance
Number 15,473 to the following projects: (1) Bowman
Connection, in an amount not to exceed $50,000 (contract
amount plus $4500 contingency), to account number 301 -220-
0110; (2) Geyer Springs, Valley Drive to Mabelvale Cut Off,
in amount not to exceed $75,000 (contract amount plus $5700
contingency) to account 301 - 220 -0111.
