RESOLUTION NO. 8,119
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO
RELINQUISH EASEMENTS ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the necessary documents to relinquish
certain sanitary sewer easements on certain properties located
within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as described on the
attached Exhibit A.

EXHIBIT "A"
LITTLE ROCK SANITARY SEWER COMMITTEE RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF
DIRECTORS TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO
RELINQUISH EASEMENTS ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED
WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Wastewater Utility has no
future need for the sanitary sewer easements on certain
properties located within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Little Rock
Sanitary Sewer Committee of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
to hereby request that the Little Rock Board of Directors
abandon the five (5) sanitary sewer easements specified
below:
(1) This legal description is a part of the executed
easements from Pleasant Valley Country Club
recorded in Book 1129, Page 109: Commencing at the
Southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 10, Pleasant
Valley Addition; thence North 1 degrees 00 minutes
00 seconds East along the West line of said Lot 1
for a distance of 10.00 feet to the point of
beginning; thence North 87 degrees 06 minutes 35
seconds West for a distance of 97.29 feet to the
point of termination.
(2) Beginning at the Northwest corner of Tract 2,
Parkway Place as recorded in Document Number
78- 04678; thence South 26 degrees 52 minutes 00
seconds West for 50.0 feet; thence South 63 degrees
08 minutes 00 seconds East for 96.0 feet to the
centerline of a 10 -foot sanitary sewer easement and
the point of beginning; thence South 34 degrees 16
minutes 33 seconds West for 190.02 feet to the
termination of said easement.
(3) This legal description is a part of the executed
easement from Mrs. Walter Mann recorded in Book
251, Page 60: Beginning at the SE corner of Lot 1,
Electric Addition to the City of Little Rock,
thence South 89 degrees 09 minutes East 35 feet;
thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 50 seconds East
53.0 feet; thence West 36.05 feet; along the
centerline of an existing 42 -inch sanitary sewer
line to the point of beginning; thence continue
West along said sanitary sewer for 126.83 feet to a
point; thence on a deflection of 15 degrees 56
minutes to the right for a distance of 149.43 feet
to the termination of said easement.
(4) This legal description is the executed easement
from Don Kirkpatrick & Carolyn Kirkpatrick recorded
as Document No. 87- 39650: A 30 -foot sanitary sewer
easement located in the NE 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section
18, T -1 -N, R -12 -W, Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas; the centerline of which is described as:
Beginning at the NW corner of the NE 1/4 SE 1/4,
Section 18, T -1 -N, R -12 -W; thence South along the
West line of said NE 1/4 SE 1/4, a distance of
584.2 feet; thence North 63 degrees 23 minutes East
327.8 feet to the point of beginning; thence South
26 degrees 37 minutes East 66.5 feet; thence South
89 degrees 20 minutes East 326.55 feet; thence
North 14 degrees 23 minutes East 286.8 feet to a
point on the centerline of the existing 48 inch
sewer line and the termination of said easement.

(5) This legal description is a part of the executed
easement from Jasper S. Sanford and Irene Sanford
recorded in Book 829, Page 273: Starting at the
Northwest corner of the NE 1/4 SE 1/4, Section 18,
Township 1 North, Range 12 West; thence South along
the West line of said NE 1/4 SE 1/4, a distance of
584.2 feet to a point; thence North 63 degrees 23
minutes East 19.0+ feet to the center of a
newly- constructed manhole and the point of
beginning; thence continue North 63 degrees 23
minutes East 814.8 feet to a point; thence North 60
degrees 22 minutes East 16.5 feet to the
termination of said easement.
THIS RESOLUTION shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this faA day of January, 1988.
