HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-13-98Board of Directors Room City Hall - 500 W. Markham Little Rock, Arkansas January 13, 1998 - 6:05 P.M. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, met in special session with Mayor Jim Dailey presiding. The following Directors were present: Directors Hinton, Hodges, Cazort, Keck, Joyce, Wyrick, Kumpuris, Kelly, and Adcock - total 9; Absent - Director Wilson - total 1. With a quorum present, Mayor Dailey declared the Board of Directors in session and stated the purpose of the special meeting was to discuss the City Manager's Employment Agreement. There was a motion by Director Adcock, seconded by Director Cazort, to recess to executive session to discuss the terms of the City Manager's Employment Agreement. The motion was unanimously adopted and the Board of Directors recessed to executive session at 6:06 o'clock P.M. (Note: The Board named Acting City Manager Cy Carney as City Manager at the Board of Directors regular meeting held January 6, 1998, pending negotiations) When the Board of Directors reconvened from executive session at 6:35 o'clock P.M., Mayor Dailey stated that the Board had met in executive session and discussed the terms of City Manager Cy Carney's Employment Agreement. Mayor Dailey then read the Agreement, effective January 6, 1998. Mr. Carney's annual salary will be $118,000, and he will receive twenty -five (25) vacation days per year, and other benefits.
