HomeMy WebLinkAbout8078= = = = No * = == = .o = = === RESOLUTION NO. 8,078 503 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING THE RIGHT -OF -WAY EASEMENT ATTACHED HERETO AS "EXHIBIT A" BACK TO WINROCK DEVELOPMENT COMPANY WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas holds title for the use and benefit of Little Rock Municipal Water Works to a certain right -of -way easement, the legal description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A (the "Easement "), in which a twelve -inch water main was located; and WHEREAS, with the approval of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works, a portion of the twelve -inch water main was relocated and a new right -of -way easement conveyed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works; and WHEREAS, the Easement is no longer needed and the owners of the property have asked the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and the Little Rock Municipal Water Works to execute a Quit Claim Deed, in the form attached hereto as Exhibit B (the "Quit Claim Deed "), conveying the Easement to the owners; and WHEREAS, the Board of Water Works Commissioners of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has adopted a Resolution whereby it determined that the Easement is no longer needed by the Little Rock Municipal Water Works; authorized the Little Rock Municipal Water Works to execute the Deed, conveying the Easement to the owners of the property; and requested the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas to approve the execution of the Quitclaim Deed by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1.
