RESOLUTION NO. 8,077
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A RATE
INCREASE FOR NON- EMERGENCY TRANSFERS
CONDUCTED BY THE LITTLE ROCK
AMBULANCE AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, this Board has been asked by the Directors of
the Little Rock Ambulance Authority to review its request for a
rate increase for non - emergency transfers, and
WHEREAS, it was determined subsequent to a public hearing
that this increase is necessary to assure that the Authority
receives a reasonable reimbursement pursuant to Medicare and
Medicaid guidelines, and to otherwise provide adequate
operational and equipment funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The rate for non- emergency transfers shall
increase from $120 per run to $250 per run.
