RESOLUTION NO. 8,047
A RESOLUTION HONORING ASSISTANT
CHIEF JANEB D. VANDIVER.
WHEREAS, Assistant Chief James Vandiver has unselfishly
served the City of Little Rock as Acting Chief of Police on two
different occasions; and
WHEREAS, during the course of those eleven months, Chief
Vandiver consistently demonstrated the extent of his leadership
skills to the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, his effectiveness as a leader has resulted in
the community's continuing confidence in the Little Rock Police
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors, on behalf
of the citizens of Little Rock, wishes to publicly extend its
gratitude and appreciation to James Vandiver for service above
and beyond the call of duty - we are all truly appreciative.
