A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO
VACATE AND CLOSE THAT PORTION OF MONROE STREET MORE SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED AS: That portion of Monroe Street described as beginning
at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, HILLCREST ADDITION to
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, thence Easterly
along South line of North Lookout Street 46.2 feet to the Northwest
corner of Lot 6, Block 4, same Addition; thence South 138 feet to
the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 4, same Addition; thence
Southwesterly to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, same
Addition; thence North 150 feet along the East line of Lot 1,
Block 3, to the Northeast corner of Lot 1, and the point of
beginning.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 18th day of July,
1988, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon that
portion of Monroe Street more specifically described as: That
portion of Monroe Street described as beginning at the Northeast
corner of Lot 1, Block 3, HILLCREST ADDITION to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, thence Easterly along South line
of North Lookout Street 46.2 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 6,
Block 4, same Addition; thence South 138 feet to the Southwest
corner of Lot 6, Block 4, same Addition; thence Southwesterly to
the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, same Addition; thence
North 150 feet along the East line of Lot 1, Block 3, to the
Northeast corner of Lot 1, and the point of beginning.
of Hillcrest Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in
Plat Book 1, Page 263, in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public utility easements
located in said streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 6:00 o'clock
P.M. on the 15th day of November , 1988.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication
once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general circulation in
the City of Little Rock.
