RESOLUTION NO. 8,009
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING
AND APPRAISAL SERVICES FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND THE FOURCHE CREEK PROJECT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2 -44 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, the City Manager is
hereby authorized to accept bids and award contracts for
engineering services to Blaylock, Threet & Phillips in the
amount of $60,000.00 on the Fourche Creek Project; to
Mehlburger, Tanner and Robinson in the amount of $52,500.00
for the 7th Street -High to Battery Street Project; to
Robert J. Richardson in the amount of $33,000.00 for the
Second and Third Street Bridge Study; and to Blaylock,
Threet & Phillips in the amount of $25,000.00 for
subdivision coordinator. The City Manager is further
authorized to award contracts for appraisal services to
James T. Johnson & Associates in the amount of $31,000.00
for the Fourche Creek Phase 3 Project and to Richard A.
Stephens & Associates in the amount of $21,000.00 for the
Fourche Creek Phase 4 Project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for these various
projects from Account No. 499 - 220 -8664 for Fourche Creek
Appraisal & Surveying; Account No. 301 - 220 -0067 for the 7th
Street Engineering; Account No. 301 - 220 -0029 for the Second
