WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and the Affiliated Food Stores, Inc. entered into a Lease and Agreement as part of an Industrial Development Revenue Bond Issue on August 1, 1986; and WHEREAS, said Lease and Agreement gave Affiliated Food Stores, Inc. an option to purchase a certain tract of land conveyed to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas under the Bond Issue; and WHEREAS, the Affiliated Food Stores, Inc. has chosen to exercise its option to purchase the property pursuant to Section XX of said Lease and Agreement; and WHEREAS, Affiliated Food Stores, Inc. has complied with the provisions set forth in said Lease and Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Trust Indenture and the Lease and Agreement, the Mayor and the City Clerk were authorized to execute the necessary documentation to sell, convey and deed over to the Affiliated Food Stores, Inc. all of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas' interest in and to that certain tract of land located at 12103 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described in the attachment hereto.
