HomeMy WebLinkAbout7971RESOLUTION NO. 7,971 222 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO EMPLOYERS REINSURANCE CORPORATION FOR EXCESS COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK WORKERS' COMPENSATION PROGRAM FOR A PERIOD OF JULY 11 1988 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. In compliance with Section 2 -44 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, the City Manager is hereby authorized to accepts bids and award a contract to Employers Reinsurance Corporation for excess coverage for the City of Little Rock Workers' Compensation Program for a period of July 1, 1988 through June 30, 1989. The adjustable rate has likewise been reduced from 8.7% to 7.0% which is approximately a 24.3% less than the current rate. If you have any questions, please let us know.
