RESOLUTION NO. 7.943 138
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A SUCCESSOR
COMMISSIONER FOR QUAPAW CENTRAL BUSINESS
DISTRICT NO. 5 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AND REAFFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE
PRESENT COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Quapaw Central
District No. 5 of Little Rock, Arkansas, has represented that
one of the Commissioners of the Board desires to resign because
of a change in circumstances, and the four remaining members of
the Board have recommended the appointment of Larry Lendermon as
a member of the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the report is approved and Larry
Lendermon be and he is hereby appointed Commissioner of Quapaw
Central Business District No. 5 of Little Rock, Arkansas, to
succeed George Eldridge as a member of the Board and he is
directed to forthwith take his oath of office and enter upon his
duties as such Commissioner.
SECTION 2. That the appointments of Mark Abernathy,
Robert L. Bumgartner, John D. Jarrard, and Jenny Heard as
Commissioners are reaffirmed and they are directed to forthwith
take a new oath of office and continuc� to enter upon their
duties as such Commissioners.
