HomeMy WebLinkAbout7889- I 00 i r b v N 0 U H H ro x 41 .1-1 U 00 00 i 0 0 r N M 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS AND EMPLOYEES FOR THEIR DEDICATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK DURING THE RECENT BAD WEATHER. -- 21 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received the largest snowfall it has ever experienced since 1893; and WHEREAS, this nearly unprecedented event created a tremendous drain on City resources and manpower; and WHEREAS, every City department performed admirably considering these circumstances, particularly the Public Works Department, the Parks and Recreation Department, the Police and Fire Departments, the Finance Department, the Data Processing Department and the Office of Emergency Services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Board of Directors, on behalf of the citizens of Little Rock, wish to extend their thanks and appreciation to the various departments and dedicated City employees who admirably performed their jobs under extremely adverse snow conditions.
