RESOLUTION NO. 71878 2
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF 13 LOTS
CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY FIVE ACRES IN THE
FOURCHE BOTTOMS FOR OPEN SPACE AND FLOODWAY
CONTROL.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock and the Corps of Engineers
are currently participating in an extensive channelization project
along Fourche Creek; and
WHEREAS, the re- occuring flooding problems along the
Fourche bottoms necessitates the acquisition of land along Fourche
Creek; and
WHEREAS, Ralph Beadle, Sara Beadle, Robert Beadle and
Marilyn Beadle, as owners of property along Fourche Creek wish to
donate this property to the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock accepts the donation of
thirteen lots containing approximately five acres in the Fourche
Bottoms, from Ralph Beadle, Sara Beadle, Robert Beadle and Marilyn
Beadle.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorizes to execute any necessary documents to effect this
conveyance.
