HomeMy WebLinkAbout78581 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 RESOLUTION NO. 7,£58 A RESOLUTION AMENDING AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT EXTENDING AMBULANCE SERVICE TO THE CITY OF NORTH LITTLE ROCK WHEREAS, the Ambulance Authority currently holds exclusive franchises for providing ambulance.service to both Little Rock and North Little Rock; and WHEREAS, the City has approved entry into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with Pulaski County; and WHEREAS, that agreement calls for an increase in the membership of the Joint Emergency Medical Service Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors approves an addendum to the Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the City of North Little Rock to provide for additional representation on the Joint Emergency Services Board in accordance with the terms of this Interlocal Cooperative agreement with Pulaski County approved this date. ADOPTED: NOVEMBER 17, 1987 ATTEST: CIT CLERK JANE CZECH •14 AS TO CITY ATTORNEY APPROVED: YOR LOTTIE SHACKEL ORD 364 � 36� ADDENDUM TO METROPOLITAN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES PROJECT INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT This Addendum is made and entered into this day of , 1987, by and between the City of Little Rock and the City of North Little Rock, and is intended to supplement and amend the terms of an existing Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Project Interlocal Agreement executed by the parties as of September 15, 1986, (the "Original Agreement "). 1. Section 2 of the Original Agreement is hereby amended to provide that the Joint Emergency Medical Services Commission will be composed of not more than eleven (11) members. Six members may be appointed by the City of Little Rock and two members may be appointed by the City of North Little Rock. Pulaski County shall be entitled to appoint one member of the Joint Emergency Medical Services Commission pursuant to the provisions of an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Little Rock and Pulaski County. The two additional seats shall be reserved for members which may be appointed by other municipalities or counties which subsequently elect to participate in the Joint Emergency Medical services Program pursuant to an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little Rock. 2. Except as specifically changed or amended by the terms of this Addendum, the terms and conditions of the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. EXECUTED this day of , 1987.
