A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE

CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT

ENDORSEMENT OF J. PERSLEY'S CHOCOLATIER TO
5
PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE

PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has an approved zone

designation for Census Tract 1 Block Group 2 within the

corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, and
11

WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business
or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
13
Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part
ai

IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of

1983; and

WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific
17
forms available from AIDC; and
18
WHEREAS, J. Persley's Chocolatier has been determined
19
by the management of the Enterprise Zone.as an appropriate'
20
applicant; and
21
WHEREAS, J. Persley's Chocolatier has agreed to furnish
22
to management of the Enterprise Zone, all necessary
23
information for compliance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
25
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. J. Persley's Chocolatier shall be endorsed
27
by the City of Little Rock for benefit from the exemptions
28
as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
29
Program Regulations of 1983.

SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the
31
required Certificate of Local Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage and approval.
