A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTIFYING LOCAL
5
GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF BAKER CAR AND TRUCK
6
RENTAL, INC. (AVIS RENT -A -CAR) TO PARTICIPATE
7
IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has an approved zone
10
designation for Census Tract 2, Block Group 9 within the
11
corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, and
12
WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business

or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
14
Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part
ui
15
IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of

1983; and

WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific

18
forms available from AIDC; and
19
WHEREAS, Baker Car and Truck Rental, Inc. has been

determined by the management of the Enterprise Zone as an
21
appropriate applicant; and

WHEREAS, Baker Car and Truck Rental, Inc, has agreed to
23
furnish to management of the Enterprise Zone, all necessary
24
information for compliance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
26
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. Baker Car and Truck Rental, Inc. shall be
28
endorsed by the City of Little Rock for benefit from the
29
exemptions as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise
30
Zone Program Regulations of 1983.

SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the
required Certificate of Local Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in 3 05
full force from and after its passage and approval.
