A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTIFYING LOCAL

GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF RAY JONES PETROLEUM,

INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE

ZONE PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has an approved Zone
9

Designation for Census Tract 40.03 , Block Group 9 within
10
the corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, and

WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business

or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone

Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part
°
14
IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of
15
1983; and
16
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific
17
forms available from AIDC; and
18
WHEREAS, Ray Jones Petroleum, Inc. has been determined
19
by the management of the enterprise zone as an appropriate
20
applicant; and
21
WHEREAS, Ray Jones Petroleum, Inc. has agreed to
22
furnish to management of the enterprise zone, all necessary
23
information for compliance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
25
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. Ray Jones Petroleum, Inc. shall be endorsed
27
by the City of Little Rock for benefit from the exemptions
28
as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
29
Program Regulations of 1983.

SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the
31
required Certificate of Local Government Endorsement.
32
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect and be in
33
full force from and after its passage and approval.
