A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
FOR RIGHT -OF -WAY ABANDONED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 88, LOCATED BETWEEN SECOND AND FOURTH
STREETS ON INDUSTRIAL DRIVE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to clear the title to certain
properties lying between East Second and East Fourth Streets
along Industrial Drive; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88 provides for reversion to the
City of Little Rock any and all rights -of -way if buildings are
removed; and
WHEREAS, the prospective owner of these properties
intends to construct replacement buildings for the old structures
which are located on this subject property; and
WHEREAS, City staff and all utilities have reviewed the
proposal for conformance with their various plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby relinquishes
any right and interest in the above referenced property which
initially required a reversion of the right -of -way to the City of
Little Rock upon the removal of any existing building, pursuant
to Ordinance No. 88.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed on the subject property.
