OF HIGHWAY 10
DATE: APRIL 22, 1987
BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Adoption of a resolution
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a sales
contract and a quitclaim deed conveying the following
property:
Tract 1: Lands adjacent to Fire Station No. 16
Tract 2: Lands in River Mountain Park.
Funds from the sale of the park property should be
appropriated to Account No. 8319 so that the lands can be
replaced.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Highway Department needs
approximately .02 acres valued at $2,400 from the fire

Little Rock and that agency. This agreement entitled the
City to receive federal funds for the purchase of River
Mountain Park property.
Staff is currently negotiating for lands in Pankey Addition
to replace the right -of -way taking in accordance with the
agreement and the Highway Department Plan adopted by the
Board and the Planning Commission.
