5 WHICH GRANTED A FRANCHISE TO THE GEORGE W.
6 DONAGHEY FOUNDATION TO USE AIR SPACE ABOVE
7 PART OF THE RIGHT -OF -WAY IN THE 100 BLOCK
8 OF EAST 7TH STREET AND THE 600 BLOCK OF
9 MAIN STREET.

12 WHEREAS, several hundred thousand dollars are to be spent
13 constructing skywalks in the Metrocentre Improvement District;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, this requires a fixed time period for the granting
16 of a franchise.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 SECTION 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 7,739 is hereby
20 amended in its entirety to read as follows:
21 Section 2. This franchise shall remain in full
22 force and effect from and after its adoption
23 and approval for a period of ninety -nine (99)
24 years.
