A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 7,728
WHICH GRANTED A FRANCHISE TO THE METROCENTRE
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO USE AIR SPACE ABOVE
PART OF THE RIGHT -OF -WAY IN THE 100 BLOCK OF
EAST SIXTH STREET BETWEEN SCOTT AND MAIN
STREETS.
WHEREAS, several hundred thousand dollar's are to be spent
constructing skywalks in the Metrocentre Improvement District;
and
WHEREAS, this requires a fixed time period for the
granting of a franchise. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of Resolution No. 7,728 is hereby
amended in its entirety to read as follows:
Section 2. This franchise shall remain in full
force and effect from and after its adoption
and approval for a period of ninety -nine (99)
years.
