A RESOLUTION COMMENDING GARY HOGAN AND THE
UNI'iERSITi OF ARKANSAS AT LITTLE ROCK
TROJAN EASEBALL TEAM.
WHEREAS, the Trojan Baseball Team of the University of
Arkansas at Little Rock will be host to Missouri Western on
Monday, March 9, 1987 at Curran Conway Park; and
WHEREAS, Coach Gary Hogan an the Trojan Baseball Team
have extended an invitation to the Little Rock Board of Directors
and the City Manager to be their guests at the first night
game held this season; and
WHEREAS, the Major Sorts Association is sponsoring a
cookout on Monday night at Curran Conway Park to help raise
funds to support the baseball Grogram at UALR; and
WHEREAS, restoration and rehabilitation of Curran Conway
Park as been Undertaken at e::ten °ive e.:pens5 anC. con:'il er,hie
work by the University of Arkansas at.Little Rock baseball
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CIT`I OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION '. The Little Rock Board of Directors wishes to
express their appreciation for the kind invitation to be -the guests
of Coach Gary Hogan and the Trojan Baseball Team at the first
night game this season against Missouri Western on Monday, March
9, 1987.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors appreciates the extensive
expense and considerable work performed on Curran Conway Fartz an"
encourages the citizens of the City of Little Rock to support
the baseball program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock
with their attendance at all home games.
