A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO
THE ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES; ARKANSAS
MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & HISTORY BOARD OF TRUSTEES; CENTRAL
ARKANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM BOARD OF TRUSTEES; CITY SAFETY
COMMISSION; LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUTHORITY;
AND THE PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby
appointed and reappointed as members of the respective
Boards and Commissions:
(a) ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES:
Mr. R. P. Carter, appointed to a four year term
expiring June 30, 1991.
(b) ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & I TORY BOARD OF TRUSTEES:
Appointed to two year terms expiring November 15,
1988:
Dr. Phillip L. Rayford
Dr. Fred Watson
Mr. Fred Allen
Mr. Charles L. Kelley
Dr. Beadle Moore (reappointed)
Mr. Tad Phillips (reappointed)
(c) CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM BOARD OF TRUSTEES_
Mr. Rick Campbell, appointed to a three year term
expiring December 31, 1989.
Mr. Lee Gordon, reappointed to a three year term
expiring December 31, 1989.
(d) CITY SAFETY COMMISSION:
Mr. George Bowman and Miss Gladys Post, reappointed to
three year terms expiring January 2, 1989 (late
appointment).
Mr. Steve Kinzler, reappointed to a three year term
expiring January 2, 1990.

appointed to three year terms expiring January 2, 1990.
Mr. Keith W. Maddison and Mr. Bob Whatley, appointed to
three year terms expiring January 2, 1989 (late
appointments).
Mr. Neel A. Moore, appointed to fill the unexpired term
of Thomas Pennington, said term expiring January 2,
1988.
(e) LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL PARKING AUT R TY:
Mr. Larry E. Townley, appointed to fill the unexpired
term of Mr. Haskell Dickinson, said term expiring
August 1, 1988.
(f) PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL:
Private Sector:
Ms. Mamie Ruth Williams, Ms. Debbie Rhyne, Mr.
Leslie Gachot and Mr. Barnard Carpenter, appointed to
three year terms expiring May 3, 1990.
Community -Based Organizations:
Dr. Hazo Carter, appointed to a three year term
expiring May 3, 1990.
Education:
Mr. Doug Rush, appointed to fill the unexpired term
of Mr. Ernest Rush, said term expiring May 3, 1988.
