3 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS
5 TO CONSTRUCT FIVE MODEL LOW COST HOMES IN FLETCHER
6 MEADOWS SUBDIVISION.

8 WHEREAS, bids were submitted pursuant to the City of
9 Little Rock's Notice of a Request for Proposals published in
10 two general circulation newspapers beginning November 19,
11 1986; and
12 WHEREAS, John T. Wright, Greval Land Development
13 Company (George Mays), and Raymond Branton Associates
14 (Nathaniel Saine) were selected as having the lowest
15 responsible bids by a rating committee after evaluation of
16 announced criteria which required five different design
17 proposals.
18 WHEREAS, $150,000 was appropriated for the purpose of
19 building houses on city property as a part of the City's
20 Economic Development Program; and
21 WHEREAS, these sums are deposited in Account Number
22 599 -8214;
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
24 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
25 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
26 execute a contract with John T. Wright Construction Company,
27 Inc., for the construction of three homes in Fletcher
Meadows' subdivision not to exceed a total price of $84,455.
2 SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
29 9 execute a contract with Greval Land Development Corporation
30 (George Mays) for the construction of one home in Fletcher
31 Meadows subdivision at a price not to exceed $29,950.
32 SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
33 execute a contract with Raymond Branton Associates,
34 Architects (Nathaniel Saine, builder) for the construction
35 of one home in Fletcher Meadows subdivision at a price not
36 to exceed $29,890.
