A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE CITY BOARD'S INTENTION
IN DEALING WITH FUTURE REZONING REQUESTS ALONG WEST
MARKHAM AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has written a memorandum
dated April 12, 1982 requesting direction from the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock in dealing with the West Markham area, and
WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors has reviewed and discussed the
request from the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognize land use plans as guides
and not specific recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City hereby adopts Option 2 of the April 12th
memorandum.
SECTION 2. Option 2 reads as follows:
Do nothing. Leave the Heights /Hillcrest Plan as is, noting
that the Plan is general in nature and need not be amended.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage.
